The Teamgroup T-Force Delta S TUF Gaming RGB was a solid-state drive in the 2.5" form factor, launched in 2019, that is no longer in production. It was available in capacities ranging from 250 GB to 1 TB. This page reports specifications for the 500 GB variant. With the rest of the system, the Teamgroup T-Force Delta S TUF Gaming RGB interfaces using a SATA 6 Gbps connection. The SSD controller is the SM2258G from Silicon Motion. Teamgroup has installed 64-layer TLC NAND flash on the T-Force Delta S TUF Gaming RGB, the flash chips are made by Samsung. To improve write speeds, a pseudo-SLC cache is used, so bursts of incoming writes are processed more quickly. The T-Force Delta S TUF Gaming RGB is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 560 MB/s and 510 MB/s write; random IOPS reach up to 90K for reads and 80K for writes.
At its launch, the SSD was priced at 119 USD. The warranty length is set to three years, which is above average, but shorter than the five years offered by many other vendors. Teamgroup guarantees an endurance rating of 400 TBW, a good value.
