The Intel DC P3700 was a solid-state drive in the Add-In Card form factor, launched in June 2014, that is no longer in production. It is only available in the 400 GB capacity listed on this page. With the rest of the system, the Intel DC P3700 interfaces using a PCI-Express 3.0 x4 connection. The SSD controller is the CH29AE41AB0 from Intel, a DRAM cache chip is available. Intel has installed MLC NAND flash on the DC P3700, the flash chips are made by Intel. The DC P3700 is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 2,700 MB/s and 1,080 MB/s write; random IOPS reach up to 450K for reads and 75K for writes. At its launch, the SSD was priced at 600 USD. The warranty length is set to five years, which is an excellent warranty period. Intel guarantees an endurance rating of 7300 TBW, an extremely high value, making this drive fit for demanding enterprise applications.
