While I am sticking with Windows 10 for now, one has to look to the future; so, I'd say use Windows 11

Windows 11 is the standard for all new computers. All tests going forward should be on the standard that the regular user would see when buying a new computer from a reseller, or someone would buy from the software producer itself. Since Windows 10 is unable to be purchased by a regular consumer, W10 should no longer be considered in analyses. Personal feelings about UI layout and underlying coding performance are irrelevant when trying to minimize the amount of variation in the review process and have a good baseline to compare results against; W11 is the new baseline and W10 has been deprecated for consumers as of October 13, 2020.

Windows 11, which will ensure the most compatibility with future tech (for example DirectStorage which is built on top of BypassIO, exclusive to W11).

I do love reading these forum threads though. Looking forward to the Windows 11 vs Windows 12 one, to read about all the nice things of W11 that everybody loves, but hates about W12.
