the problem started to occur again i repasted it with thermal grizzly kryronaut extreme 14.2w/mk the temps are normal but the ghz is again very low again tho, this doesn't occur on any other game. yes sometimes it will say "power" on the throttle stop but it's usually around 30 watts it only...

the issue was somehow caused by windows. i installed a fresh copy of windows and everything seems in order. i'll post an update if anything changes

i found a way to feed a bit more power into the cpu by downclocking the gpu with afterburner, and also when i limit the power around 30 watts cpu doesn't get hotter than 75 degrees. is that enough to trigger embedded controller?

Yes, the laptop is around 5 years old by now, i usually open it up, clean it, repaste it like every 3-4 months or so, the thing i really don't understand is none of this happens in CS2 a graphically demanding game it's on high settings aswell but it runs perfectly fine without any problems...
